Cut & edge services
For trades, fitters and homeowners who need a clear, workshop-backed cut and edge service from Moycullen, Co. Galway.
How it works
Download the cutting list PDF, fill in your job details, panel sizes, quantities, material and edging requirements, then send it back to us for pricing.
The clearer the cutting list, the faster we can come back with a sensible price and lead time. Length should always be written first, then width.
Need worktops to go with the job? See our Egger worktop ranges, including bulk/trade pricing.
How to fill it in
The cutting list uses the same core fields every time: job details at the top, then description, quantity, length, width and edging per piece.
Use the board material code, colour and thickness. Example: U702 Cashmere 18mm.
Use the edging code or colour and the required thickness. Most jobs will be 0.8mm, 1mm or 2mm edging.
Write what the piece is: top, bottom, shelf, side panel, gable, filler, rail, drawer front or any clear part name.
Write how many identical pieces are needed for that line.
Length and width
Most decorative sheets are around 2800mm by 2070/2080mm. On timber grain boards, the grain normally runs along the 2800mm direction. That is the length. The cross-grain direction is the width.
Edging guide
Edge L means the long sides of the part. Edge W means the short or cross-grain sides of the part.
